Connecting with Nature
I love being outside whether thats pottering in the garden or travelling to undiscovered places.
Originating from the west of Ireland, I’m a ‘townie’ from the heart of Galway, somewhere that brings a huge amount of joy to wander and potter along the canal, enjoying a stroll along the prom, or completely submerging along the wild and beautiful landscapes of Connemara.
I’ve had the privilege to qualify as a nurse, be a midwife, then develop my love of connection with people, decided to become a psychotherapist to complement a whole health support .
After I received my Masters in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy in 2009 , I found Hakomi, created by Ron Kurtz. This experiencial, body based method of being, embodies loving presence , its a state of being that has enriched my life, it’s really something that you can learn, grow into , I’ve been becoming more intimate with the practice of loving presence within therapy and how this can both enhance and suport living a life of choice and freedom.
I’m a Hakomi Practitioner and often assist Hakomi Trainers both at national and International trainings that are part of the Hakomi Education Network.
